Black Veil Brides release “Revenger” featuring Machine Head’s Robb Flynn ahead of 2026 North American headline tour and new album.

“Revenger” is the newest single single to drop for Black Veil Brides 7th studio album VINDICATE,  which is set to drop on May 8th, 2026.

Frontman Andy Biersack said “Revenger” stands as one of his favorite songs on the new album. The track was born from his fascination with society’s complicated relationship with justice and retaliation. Writing from the perspective of another character, Biersack felt the song needed a second voice to fully realize the concept, making Robb Flynn of Machine Head the perfect fit both musically and personally. He also credited Flynn as one of the earliest figures in heavy music to publicly support the band during their formative years.

“…when we were getting absolutely shit on by every other metal band, Robb Flynn and Machine Head stood up for us and said positive things about us and has maintained that for years and years.”

The release also expands beyond music with a companion novel, Revenger, written by Biersack. The story unfolds in a city drowning in corruption, where a mysterious vigilante known only as The Revenger rises from the shadows to punish the unforgivable and dismantle a criminal empire called The Syndicate. As his crusade deepens, he uncovers betrayals tied directly to his own fractured past.

Blending classic noir atmosphere with horror and revenge-thriller intensity, the novel explores guilt, corruption, and the razor-thin line between hero and monster, giving the “Revenger” universe another dark and cinematic layer. It is easy to imagine the world of the story while listening to the song, painting a vivid picture of the vigilante character as the track plays like a soundtrack in your head while you turn each page. It is not the only crossover moment tied to songs from the new album. WrestleMania 42 used “Woe & Pain” in the hype package for the match between Cody Rhodes and Randy Orton. The song’s cinematic build, soaring hooks, and anthemic chorus made it a natural fit for a moment built on drama, emotion, and spectacle.

That is the tone fans have already heard across the four previously released singles from the album. “Bleeders,” “Hallelujah,” “Certainty,” and “Vindicate” all fall into that same cinematic lane, packed with vibrant energy, soaring melodies, and anthemic choruses that will have you singing and screaming along in your car.

Black Veil Brides have mastered full 360-degree cinematic storytelling through their music and videos across the last six studio albums. Even in the early days, the foundational elements that made Black Veil Brides who they are were already in place, and those themes have continued to evolve throughout each release. As Black Veil Brides get ready to launch their 2026 North American headline tour, fans will not have to wait long to hear the new material live. The 24-date run begins April 25 in Riverside before rolling through cities across the United States and Canada. The final stop lands May 30 at The Palladium in Worcester, Massachusetts, giving New England fans one last chance to catch the run and serving as a fitting place to close the tour. Palladium crowds have long been known for showing up in full force and bringing the kind of energy bands feed off all night.

Joining the tour on select dates will be From Ashes To New, TX2, and As December Falls, creating a stacked lineup that matches the theatrical intensity Black Veil Brides bring to the stage.
