Thanya Iyers and Charlotte Rae delivered captivating sets at The Loading Dock, engaging the audience in a mellow, relaxed, and welcoming atmosphere.

Charlotte Rae is a new up in coming pop/r&b artist. She released her first single “Like That” in 2021, followed by “Twin Bed” in 2023. Her first EP called Divine released in 2024. In 2025, she released her most recent EP Wants and Needs. Her music introduced listeners to heartfelt and intimate lyric writing. Charlotte is often referred to as “the off duty pop princess” with her relatable storytelling and ability to capture the essence of youth.

The crowd was amazed by her performance. She played her singles “War”, “Twin Bed”, “Teeth”, “She Gets On Top” and “Ease My Mind”. She split up these songs with a cover of “Silver Spring” by Fleetwood Mac which continued to amaze the audience.

Thanya Iyer is an experimental and impressive pop songwriter. Her band consists of Thanya Iyer (synth, violin, voice, piano), Pompey (bass, clarinet, voice), Emilie Kahn (harp, flute, voice) and Daniel Gelinas (drums, voice). The live band uses acoustic and electronic pieces to create a serene and spiritual sound. Their first album, Do You Dream was released in 2016, they have grown drastically as a band since. Thanya Iyer just released their most recent album TIDE/TIED which aims to bring listeners peace in identity, healing and loving in this world.

The band put on an impressive performance. They played songs from their most recent album TIDE/TIED which was not released until after the show. Thanya Iyers played songs such as “Where Does That Energy Go”, “Low Tides”, “High Tides”, “I Am Here Now” and “Wash It All Away”. Their performance was a different world for many audience members as the band mixed electronic and acoustic devices in front of their eyes.
