Black Veil Brides brought their VINDICATOUR to a close at the Worcester Palladium, finishing the run where the energy never let up.
There is something truly special about shows at the Worcester Palladium. The energy is always at full throttle, with fans packing every corner of the historic venue long before the first band takes the stage. As we made our way toward the entrance, it was impossible to miss the sea of Black Veil Brides fans already gathering outside. Wedding dresses, gothic ballgowns, and tuxedos mixed with dark eyeliner, black nail polish, combat boots, lace, mesh, and ripped black denim. The crowd itself felt like an extension of the band’s aesthetic, turning the sidewalks outside the venue into a scene straight out of a Black Veil Brides music video.
The 24-date run, which began on April 25 in Riverside, California, has been an epic stretch of shows, with each band raising the energy level throughout the night. The lineup was a perfect fit, with every act bringing something different while still feeling right at home on the same bill as Black Veil Brides.
The first band to take the stage was British pop-punk rock band As December Falls. Hailing from Nottingham, England, the band brought a vibrancy and energy that was the perfect kickoff to a night filled with cinematic, anthem-driven rock. They opened with “Carousel” from their 2023 album Join The Club.
If you’re a fan of Paramore, this is definitely a band worth checking out. Bethany Hunter possesses the same magnetic stage presence and ability to connect with an audience that helped make artists like Hayley Williams such a force in the genre. Whether charging across the stage or belting out massive singalong choruses, Hunter made it impossible to take your eyes off the performance.
The momentum never slowed as the band powered through a six-song set that pulled material from their last three albums, Everything’s On Fire, But I’m Fine (2025), Join The Club (2023), and Happier (2021). The set also featured their newest single, “Teeth,” released in April 2026. As December Falls brings a vibrancy to every note they sing and play, pairing soaring melodies with driving pop-punk hooks and an infectious enthusiasm that quickly spread through the crowd. Their set was the perfect way to kick off an evening built around massive choruses, larger-than-life personalities, and theatrical rock performances.

Next up was TX2, a band that has quickly carved out a place for themselves in the punk, post-hardcore, and emo scenes. They fit seamlessly into the lineup and clearly resonated with many of the younger fans in attendance. TX2 is an absolute onslaught of energy, delivering a performance built around empowerment, individuality, and tackling difficult topics head-on. The band’s chemistry and relentless stage presence kept the crowd engaged throughout every moment of the set.
Beyond TX2 being the perfect addition to help elevate the energy inside the Palladium, there was already a built-in connection to the tour. The band recently collaborated with Black Veil Brides on “The End of Us,” a track that showcases exactly why the pairing works so well. Andy Biersack’s soaring, anthemic vocals blend seamlessly with Evan Thomas’ grittier delivery, creating a song that balances melody and intensity while highlighting the strengths of both artists.
The connection goes deeper than a single song. Both bands have built loyal followings by championing self-expression, individuality, and creating a sense of belonging for those who have often felt like outsiders. It made TX2 a natural fit for the lineup and one that clearly resonated with the audience throughout their set.

The band also performed their newest single, “Confession,” which features both Evan Thomas (vocals) and Courtney “Corky” Howard (bass) sharing lead vocal duties. The duo’s voices work perfectly together, balancing smooth melodic passages with the gritty angst that many fans have come to love about TX2′s music.
What we really appreciate about TX2 goes beyond the music itself. Much of the band’s visual content is directed and edited by Evan Thomas and Cam Barclay, giving the project a distinctly personal feel. That hands-on approach allows the visuals to mirror the same energy, emotion, and message found in the music, creating a complete artistic package rather than simply a collection of songs.

One of the most memorable moments of the set came near the end when Thomas invited a young fan on stage to play guitar with the band. The crowd erupted as the fan stepped into the spotlight, creating the kind of genuine, unscripted moment that embodies what TX2 is all about. The band closed with “I Would Hate Me Too,” capping off a set that was equal parts chaos, connection, and empowerment.

Next up was the powerhouse that is From Ashes to New, taking everything that As December Falls and TX2 brought to the stage and turning the intensity up another notch by introducing the rap-rock and nu-metal edge of the evening. Since emerging onto the scene with Day One in 2016, the band has spent the last decade relentlessly carving out their place in modern rock. Through constant touring and a string of chart-climbing singles, From Ashes to New has steadily grown into one of the genre’s most consistent forces.
What has always set the band apart is their ability to connect with fans on a deeply personal level. Their music taps into the struggles, frustrations, and emotions that many people wrestle with every day, offering both an outlet and a sense of understanding. Whether tackling themes of mental health, self-doubt, or perseverance, the band’s lyrics resonate because they come from lived experiences. Matt Brandyberry has never shied away from speaking openly about being bullied growing up, and that honesty has become a cornerstone of the band’s music. That authenticity is what has allowed From Ashes to New to form such a strong connection with their fans throughout their career.
From Ashes to New kicked off their set with “New Disease” from their 2026 album Reflections. The album doubles down on everything the band does best, blending massive hooks, crushing riffs, hip-hop influences, and deeply personal lyricism. Throughout the set, the chemistry between Matt Brandyberry and Danny Case was on full display. The duo seamlessly traded vocals, moving between melodic harmonies and rapid-fire verses with ease. It is a formula that From Ashes to New has spent years perfecting. Just when the audience has a moment to catch their breath, the band launches into another crushing riff or soaring chorus, keeping the energy high and the crowd fully engaged from start to finish.
From there they dove into “Nightmare” and “Heartache” off of 2023’s Blackout. Both songs have become fan favorites and modern anthems since their release. Looking around the Palladium, it was impossible not to notice how immersed the crowd was in every word, with fans singing along and feeding off the energy pouring from the stage.
From there, the band returned to their newest album, Reflections, with “Drag Me,” which recently reached No. 1 on the Billboard Mainstream Rock Airplay chart, a well-deserved milestone for a band that has spent the last decade steadily building its audience through hard work and relentless touring, and “Villain.” Both tracks showcase a band that has spent years refining and perfecting its sound.
“Villain” in particular feels massive, blending soaring vocals, crushing breakdowns, and cinematic riffs with layers of electronic elements that add depth and texture to the song. The constant push and pull between melody and aggression creates a tension that keeps listeners locked in, demonstrating exactly why From Ashes to New continues to evolve while staying true to the sound that brought them to the dance.
The set continued with “Barely Breathing” off of Blackout before returning to Reflections for their newest single, “Die For You.” The track puts the chemistry between Matt Brandyberry and Danny Case front and center, with both vocalists sharing the spotlight and showcasing the dynamic interplay that has become one of From Ashes to New’s greatest strengths.
They closed out the night with “Panic,” the title track from their 2020 album. It was a fitting finale, sending the crowd into one last frenzy while bringing an end to a set that perfectly balanced heavy riffs, massive choruses, and the emotional connection that has made From Ashes to New such a powerful force in modern rock.
As the lights dimmed for the final time, Bach’s “Toccata and Fugue in D Minor” echoed throughout the Palladium. Candles lined the stage, casting an eerie glow across the venue and transforming the room into the perfect setting for Black Veil Brides’ arrival. It’s incredible that a piece of music written more than 320 years ago can serve as the perfect introduction for a modern rock band, but Black Veil Brides has found a way to seamlessly blend the haunting organ melodies of Bach with soaring guitars, thunderous rhythms, and powerful vocals. The result is an atmosphere that feels both timeless and unmistakably their own.
The transition from Bach to Black Veil Brides came quickly as the opening notes of “Knives and Pens” from 2010’s We Stitch These Wounds rang out through the venue. Flanked on opposite sides of the stage, Jinxx and Jake Pitts immediately unleashed the soaring guitar work and harmonized leads that have become a signature part of the band’s sound. Behind them, Christian Coma and Lonny Eagleton provided the thunderous rhythm section that drove the song forward, steadily building the anticipation inside the packed Palladium.
The crowd erupted with the arrival of Andy Biersack, whose commanding stage presence instantly elevated the energy in the room. Together, the five musicians delivered the theatrical spectacle that Black Veil Brides fans have come to expect, blending gothic imagery, massive sounds, soaring guitar harmonies, and anthemic choruses into an experience that felt every bit as cinematic as the stage production surrounding them.

“Bleeders” came next, serving as a bridge between Black Veil Brides past and present. Originally released in 2024, the song found a new home on the band’s latest album, Vindicate, which was released on May 8, 2026. Marking the band’s seventh studio album since breaking onto the scene with We Stitch These Wounds in 2010, Vindicate showcases a group that continues to evolve without losing sight of what made fans fall in love with them in the first place.
Beyond the incredible music Black Veil Brides continues to create is the storytelling that accompanies it. “Bleeders” features a cinematic narrative inspired by Sweeney Todd, placing the band directly into the dark and theatrical world of the classic tale. It is a perfect example of what Black Veil Brides does so well. The music and visuals work hand in hand, creating an immersive experience that extends far beyond the songs themselves. Black Veil Brides has always understood that their art is as much about what fans see as what they hear, building entire worlds that invite listeners to become part of the story.

The night continued with a trip back through Black Veil Brides‘ catalog as the band dusted off fan favorites “Coffin” from the 2011 Rebels EP and “Rebel Love Song” from Set the World on Fire. If there was ever any doubt about how many longtime fans were packed into the Palladium, it quickly disappeared. Voices echoed throughout the venue as fans sang every word back to the band, matching the same passion and intensity pouring from the stage. At several points, the crowd was so loud that Andy Biersack could simply step back from the microphone and let the audience carry the song.
The band then returned to their newest album, Vindicate, with “Hallelujah” before diving into “Faithless” from their 2014 self-titled album and “Wake Up” from 2018’s Vale. The run of songs showcased the band’s ability to seamlessly weave together material spanning more than fifteen years, proving that whether the tracks are brand new or longtime fan favorites, they remain just as powerful in a live setting.
The title track from Vindicate came next and was clearly one of the songs fans had been waiting for all night. As soon as the opening notes rang out, the energy inside the Palladium surged. Mosh pits expanded, crowd surfers began making their way toward the barricade, and the crowd’s intensity reached another level. As the fourth single released from the album, “Vindicate” has already established itself as a fan favorite, and the reaction inside the venue made it clear why.
Midway through the song, Andy Biersack brought the performance to a halt after noticing a fan in distress within the crowd. Taking a moment to ensure everyone was safe, he waited until the situation was under control before restarting the song from the beginning. The gesture was met with cheers from the audience and only strengthened the connection between the band and their fans. When the soaring chorus finally returned, the crowd sang every word back with even more passion than before, turning the moment into one of the most memorable of the night.

Biersack took a moment to pause and interact with the crowd, scanning the venue from front to back. He pointed out t-shirts he spotted deep in the audience and read several signs fans had brought with them, including one jokingly claiming that drummer Christian “CC” Coma’s timing was off. Biersack quickly came to his bandmate’s defense, laughing as he told the crowd he thought CC sounded great. Within seconds, a chant for CC erupted from the front barricade and spread all the way to the back of the Palladium.
It’s moments like these that have helped Black Veil Brides maintain such a dedicated fanbase throughout their career. Beyond the music, there is a genuine connection between the band and their fans. Taking the time to engage with the audience, acknowledge the signs, share a laugh, and make everyone feel seen creates an atmosphere that feels more like a community gathering than simply another stop on a tour.
From there, the band rolled into “Certainty” from the new album Vindicate before taking fans on a journey through the Black Veil Brides catalog with “Beautiful Remains” from We Stitch These Wounds and “Wretched and Divine” from the band’s 2013 concept album Wretched and Divine: The Story of the Wild Ones. The set then jumped back to 2026 with “Revenger,” one of the standout tracks from Vindicate. Featuring Robb Flynn on the studio version, the song is an absolute powerhouse live, combining crushing riffs, massive hooks, and the kind of energy that immediately ignites a crowd.

The main set came to a close with “Sweet Blasphemy” and “Perfect Weapon” off of 2010’s We Stitch These Wounds and “The Legacy” from 2011’s Set the World on Fire. The trio of songs served as a reminder of just how long Black Veil Brides has been a part of so many fans’ lives. For many in the crowd, these were the songs that started it all.
The encore delivered one final surprise as Lilith Czar joined the band on stage for “Lost It All” from Wretched and Divine: The Story of the Wild Ones. The crowd erupted the moment she appeared, somehow finding another gear after an already electric night. Czar’s vocals blended beautifully with Biersack’s, bringing a renewed emotion to a song that has remained a fan favorite for more than a decade.
The appearance felt especially fitting given Czar’s recent collaboration with Black Veil Brides on “Cut” from Vindicate. As one of the newest songs in the band’s catalog, “Cut” continues the storytelling tradition that has become a hallmark of Black Veil Brides, pairing powerful music with vivid imagery and cinematic themes. Whether revisiting a beloved classic like “Lost It All” or exploring new material, Black Veil Brides continues to create music that invites fans to become part of the story.
VIDEO FROM EAST COAST ROMPER
The night capped off with one of the most powerful and cinematic songs in the Black Veil Brides catalog, “In The End.” The moment felt monumental as crowd surfers came in waves over the barricade, hands filled the air, and thousands of voices sang the chorus at the top of their lungs. It was the perfect way to close a night built around community, self-expression, and singing your heart out alongside people who share the same passion for the music.
Black Veil Brides will spend much of June overseas before returning to North America for the second leg of the VINDICATE TOUR. The run kicks off on August 27, 2026, at The Van Buren in Phoenix, Arizona, and wraps up on September 27, 2026, at The Wellmont Theater in Montclair, New Jersey.
Joining the band on this leg of the tour will be Caskets and Archers. Holy Wars will provide support from August 27 through September 8, Autumn Kings will take over the second leg from September 16 through September 27. Fans can find the full list of tour dates below.
If you missed Black Veil Brides on this run, there will be plenty of opportunities to catch them later this year. The band is also scheduled to appear at Vans Warped Tour Mexico, continuing what has already been a massive year in support of Vindicate.
Black Veil Brides has spent the last fifteen years carving out a space uniquely their own. Drawing from the theatrical storytelling of bands like My Chemical Romance and Ice Nine Kills while embracing the arena-sized hooks, soaring guitar harmonies, and larger-than-life musicianship of bands like KISS and Iron Maiden, they have created a sound and identity that is instantly recognizable. Black Veil Brides occupies a space somewhere between classic arena rock, gothic theatricality, and modern hard rock, combining massive guitar harmonies and cinematic storytelling with a deep connection to their fans. In an era where so many bands chase trends or blend into the crowd, Black Veil Brides has remained unapologetically themselves. Their commitment to their vision, sound, and fanbase is what has allowed them to not only endure for more than fifteen years, but continue to thrive while remaining unmistakably Black Veil Brides.
