Sevendust and Theory of a Deadman are joining forces for The Dead / Seven Tour, a 36-date North American co-headlining tour.
The tour will officially kick off on August 7 in Duluth, Minnesota, stretch across all corners of North America, before wrapping up on September 29 in Bozeman, Montana. Return to Dust will join as support.
More than two decades in the making, this tour brings together two bands whose sounds naturally complement each other. The anthemic, radio-driven edge of Theory of a Deadman paired with the raw, powerhouse force of Sevendust makes this a match made in rock heaven, one built on years of shared stages and mutual respect.
Tyler Connolly of Theory of a Deadman shared, “We are beyond pumped to hit the road with one of the most beloved rock bands and friends, Sevendust. Playing shows with them going back to 2002—man, this tour is gonna crush! Cannot wait to play some new tracks and some old ones too. Excited for rockers Return to Dust to join us as
It has been a exciting time for both bands, Theory of a Deadman has been busy with their brand new single, “Barricade,” released in late April of this year. The newest track showcases the catchy riffs, driving rhythms, and radio-ready hooks that have defined the band’s sound over the last few decades. Signed by Chad Kroeger in the early 2000s, Theory of a Deadman has continued to evolve while consistently delivering anthem after anthem to rock audiences worldwide.

From fan favorites like “Santa Monica,” “Hate My Life,” and “Bitch Came Back” to radio staples like “Not Meant To Be,” the band has built a catalog packed with instantly recognizable rock hits. They’ve landed twelve Top 10 singles on the Billboard Mainstream Rock Chart, including four #1 hits: “Bad Girlfriend,” “Lowlife,” “History Of Violence,” and “Rx (Medicate).” Through it all, the band has stayed authentically themselves, never chasing trends but instead refining and expanding the signature sound that fans immediately recognize the moment a song starts playing.

While Sevendust recently released their 15th studio album, ONE, the record feels less like a band slowing down and more like a band continuing to push themselves creatively after more than three decades together. The album takes everything fans have always loved about Sevendust — the crushing riffs, emotional depth, soaring melodies and harmonies, and undeniable soul and groove — and somehow adds even more heart, wisdom, hooks, and edge. It is unmistakably Sevendust, just elevated to an entirely new level.
There is something noticeably different about ONE compared to the fourteen albums that came before it, and that difference is a good thing. Sevendust has always been a band that makes their fans feel appreciated. There has always been a genuine sense of gratitude between the band and the people who have supported them for decades. It is a huge part of why Sevendust shows become contagious experiences, the kind that keep fans coming back five, ten, twenty, or even a hundred times to see them live.
That connection has always been the magic behind Sevendust, and ONE carries that same energy throughout the entire album. It feels personal, honest, and deeply connected to the people who have grown alongside the band over the years.

That makes this upcoming tour cycle even more exciting, with the possibility of hearing newer tracks woven in alongside the powerhouse songs that have defined the band’s career for decades. One of the standout moments on ONE comes with “Misdirection,” which features guitarist John Connolly stepping further into the vocal spotlight. While Connolly is no stranger to singing through his work in Sevendust and as the lead vocalist of Projected, this track gives him a chance to truly shine. Backed by the harmonies of Clint Lowery and Lajon Witherspoon, “Misdirection” becomes one of the most hauntingly beautiful moments on the album — the kind of song that completely stops you in your tracks. It is emotional, powerful, and absolutely deserves a spot on the setlist for this run.

Which brings everything full circle as to why this pairing with Sevendust makes so much sense for a co-headlining tour. Both bands have spent decades staying true to who they are. They have never wavered from their core sound, only reinventing and building on it while continuing to deliver the kind of hard-hitting, anthem-driven rock that fans connect with year after year.
New England fans will be treated to two dates at the legendary Hampton Beach Casino Ballroom, a staple venue in the world of Sevendust. The iconic oceanfront venue has shared a long history with the band that stretches back decades, becoming one of those places where Sevendust and their fanbase always seem to create something special together.
Their recent Animosity anniversary tour saw the Casino Ballroom completely sell out, with demand so high that additional dates had to be added around the run. In fact, during the first leg of the tour, the band announced live on stage that they would already be returning to the venue for leg two, a moment that sent the Hampton Beach crowd into a frenzy.
So for all of the Casino Ballroom Dustheads, get those presale codes ready and alarms set. If history says anything, these shows are going to move fast, and another quick sellout feels almost inevitable.
Presales begin Wednesday, May 6 at 10 a.m. local time, with general on-sale starting Friday, May 8 at 10 a.m. local time. VIP packages can be found through the official Theory of a Deadman and Sevendust websites.
