Dueling Pianos amazed the crowd at the SHOWROOM with a high-energy, interactive performance that had the audience singing, dancing, and laughing all night long.
The Colonial Performing Arts Center in Keene, NH has been steadily growing over the past few years. One of its most exciting additions is the acquisition and renovation of a smaller venue just behind the main stage, now known as the SHOWROOM. This intimate space is perfect for up-and-coming artists and a wide variety of events. Its cozy atmosphere made it the ideal setting for a night of music, laughter, and audience participation.
The Dueling Pianos show was an open request performance, a fun twist on their usual format. Audience members were encouraged to submit song requests throughout the night, and the duo delivered an eclectic mix of genres and styles without missing a beat. The spontaneity of the show added an exciting layer, keeping everyone guessing what song would come next.
Armed with more than just their pianos, the performers brought out tambourines, harmonicas, and melodicas, adding playful layers to their musical journey. Over the course of two exhilarating hours, they played everything from pop and rock to hip-hop and old-school favorites. Crowd-pleasing highlights included “It’s My Party” by Lesley Gore, “Anaconda” by Nicki Minaj, “Bohemian Rhapsody” by Queen, and “Bad Romance” by Lady Gaga, among many others.
The audience was fully engaged the entire night—singing along, dancing in their seats, and clapping to the beat. The duo made it a point to interact with every person who submitted a request and even sang “Happy Birthday” to several audience members, making the night feel personal and unforgettable.
It was a night of music, fun, and connection—one that proved both the SHOWROOM’s potential as a premier performance space and Dueling Pianos’ undeniable talent for bringing people together through the power of song.
