Our Lady Peace marks 30 years with a 2026 anniversary tour across the Eastern–Central U.S., joined by special guests The Verve Pipe. For Our Lady Peace U.S. fans, Christmas came a little early this year. The band has officially announced that the OLP30 Tour is coming stateside. Fans have been patiently waiting — okay, okay, maybe not so patiently — especially with the amount of spamming we’ve done on their tour posts begging for U.S. dates. But after a few years of hoping for a full-length run, the moment has finally arrived. The Canadian Alternative rock giants have been dropping teasers and not-so-subtle hints on their socials and discord channel leading up to the announcement this morning December 9th, 2025 at 11AM EST.

OLP will be bringing fellow ’90s/2000s alt-rock staples The Verve Pipe along for the ride. The tour kicks off March 5th, 2026, at The Vic in Chicago, IL, and spans 21 dates before wrapping up on April 4th, 2026, at The Roxian in Pittsburgh , PA.
The band has been busy over the last few years, touring heavily with many U.S. dates and most recently wrapping up a run with Live and Collective Soul. It was just enough to keep die-hard fans satisfied while they waited—somewhat patiently—for a proper headline tour.
OLP30 celebrates 30 years of Our Lady Peace’s legacy. OLP30: Volume One was released on September 20, 2024, marking three decades since the band’s debut album Naveed hit the music scene in 1994. That debut set the foundation for a generation of listeners, featuring singles like “Starseed” and “Naveed”, which climbed the charts in both the U.S. and Canada. OLP’s sound stood apart from the emerging post-grunge alternative rock wave—intricate guitar work paired with Raine Maida’s unmistakable, inimitable voice made it clear the band was offering something fresh, distinct, and wholly their own.
That momentum exploded with the wildly successful Clumsy in 1997, delivering hit after hit including “Superman’s Dead”, “Clumsy”, “Automatic Flowers”, and “4AM”. The album went on to reach Diamond status in Canada and Platinum status in the U.S., selling over a million copies and solidifying that OLP—already massively popular in Canada—had firmly earned their place in the American rock landscape as well. The band toured heavily throughout the U.S. during the late ’90s and early 2000s, expanding their reach and building the loyal fanbase that continues to thrive today.
OLP30: Volume One encompasses a mix of those two first albums, bringing “Starseed” and “Naveed” and “Superman’s Dead”, “4AM” and “Clumsy” with the addition of a brand new single called “Sound The Alarm” which had undertones of those first few singles off Naveed and Clumsy while still infusing the fresh adapted sound that has emerged over the bands 30 years career. It’s magnificently put together with the soaring antematic rock that fans have loved for decades.

OLP30: Volume Two, released on November 15, 2024, sheds light on the band’s late-’90s and early-2000s era, revisiting 1999’s Happiness… Is Not a Fish That You Can Catch and 2000’s Spiritual Machines. The EP also introduces a new single, “I Wanna Be Your Drug”, which brings OLP back to the core elements that defined Naveed and Clumsy, tapping into the raw, stripped-down energy of those early records.
The EP showcases standout tracks from Happiness… Is Not a Fish That You Can Catch including One Man Army, “Is Anybody Home?”, and “Thief”—songs that pushed the band’s sound forward with experimental textures, unconventional arrangements, and Maida stretching into higher vocal octaves. It also features “In Repair” and “Right Behind You (Mafia)” from Spiritual Machines, a conceptual album inspired by futurist Ray Kurzweil’s 1999 book The Age of Spiritual Machines. Kurzweil’s spoken-word contributions weave throughout the album, adding a fascinating narrative layer to its exploration of humanity, consciousness, and advancing technology.
If you haven’t revisited Spiritual Machines recently, we highly recommend pulling it back out—especially through the lens of where we are today with AI. The album feels more relevant now than ever.
OLP30: Volume Three, released on February 14, 2025, takes us through the eras of 2002’s Gravity and 2005’s Healthy in Paranoid Times. The EP highlights major tracks from Gravity—including “Somewhere Out There”, “Innocent”, and “Not Enough”—as well as “Angles/Losing/Sleep” and “Will the Future Blame Us” from Healthy in Paranoid Times.
Gravity marked another monumental moment for the band. While OLP had already built a devoted following and a string of successful albums, this record pushed them even further, earning Platinum certification in the U.S. and multi-Platinum status in Canada. Both albums stepped away from some of the quirkier, experimental textures of earlier OLP releases and leaned into a more polished rock sound. The core essence of the band was still unmistakably present—the introspection, the emotional resonance, the intricate musicality—but the singles carried a more radio-friendly edge that introduced OLP to an even broader audience. Meanwhile, the deep cuts continued to reflect the band’s roots and their ongoing evolution.
The new single from OLP30: Volume Three, “No Angels in This Town”, fits seamlessly alongside the tracks from Gravity and Healthy in Paranoid Times. It steps back from the higher-octave vocal work Maida was known for in earlier albums and leans more confidently into a modern hard-rock tone rather than the post-grunge/alternative textures of the ’90s. That’s not to say OLP has strayed from who they are—if anything, this newest iteration feels like the mature, fully realized version of the band we first fell in love with decades ago.

The three volumes culminate the story of OLP’s career, capturing the evolution of their sound from the raw debut era, to the conceptual experimentation of the early 2000s, to the more mainstream rock direction that propelled them even further into the spotlight. Together, the EPs feel like a musical biography—one that spans three decades yet still feels fresh, alive, and undeniably relevant as the band continues selling out arenas across Canada and packing venues throughout the U.S.
For fans who want a deeper dive into the creative process behind the new material and the making of the OLP30 project, we highly recommend checking out Full Circle, the documentary that chronicles how the band approached writing the new songs and shaping the three EPs. It offers an inside look at how these chapters came together and how OLP continues to evolve while honoring everything that made them iconic in the first place.

The Verve Pipe, another staple of the mid-’90s and early-2000s rock scene, has also been busy in the studio, releasing their newest album Reconciled in July 2025. The album features three standout singles—”Dust”, “Roulette”, and “Tattoo”—each showcasing a band that has stayed true to the foundation of their signature ’90s sound while elevating it with more than 30 years of experience, maturity, and creative evolution. What was already great has only grown richer, sharper, and more dynamic.

The band was part of the alternative rock boom of the ’90s, delivering hits like “The Freshman”, “Photograph”, and “Villains” from their sophomore album Villains. They shot up the charts when The Freshman became a breakout success, climbing all the way to No. 5 on the Billboard Hot 100. And while some may try to place them in the “one-hit wonder” category, their career tells a very different story. With a deeply loyal fanbase, consistently powerful live performances, and eight studio albums under their belt, The Verve Pipe has proven their staying power time and time again.
