Four heavy rock giants—Beartooth, I Prevail, Killswitch Engage, and Parkway Drive—unite for a massive co-headlining tour this June. Get ready for pure chaos!
The Summer of Loud Tour ignites on June 21 in West Palm Beach, FL, blasting through 25 amphitheaters across the U.S. before concluding in a high-energy finale on June 27 in Charlotte, NC. This summer, four of the most powerful forces in modern metal will take the stage together—Beartooth, I Prevail, Killswitch Engage, and Parkway Drive—joined by supporting acts The Devil Wears Prada, The Amity Affliction, and Alpha Wolf. Additional openers will rotate throughout the tour, with TX2 performing from June 22 to July 2, Kingdom of Giants taking over from July 5 to July 15, and Dark Divine closing out the run from July 16 to July 27.
Each of these bands on their own would deliver an unforgettable show, but together, they’re an unstoppable powerhouse. Beartooth, fronted by Caleb Shomo, has gained tremendous momentum since their 2013 debut. Much like Nine Inch Nails, Shomo has played multiple roles—producer, vocalist, and multi-instrumentalist—creating a sound that is raw, intense, and deeply personal. Describing Beartooth as a living document of rage and depression, Shomo’s songwriting connects deeply with listeners, and their fifth album The Surface, released in 2023, continues that journey of honesty and self-reflection. With the album debuting at No. 1 on Billboard’s Alternative and Hard Music charts and tracks like “Might Love Myself” and “I Was Alive” climbing to number one, Beartooth is making waves across the industry. This summer, they will also join Shinedown and Bush on the Dance Kid Dance tour.
“Summer of Loud is gonna be a clinic in metalcore ass-whoopery,” says Beartooth singer Caleb Shomo. “It’s an absolute honor to be a part of this epic tour with such good company. Strap in for one of the most fun summer shows of your life.”
I Prevail has steadily risen through the ranks in the past few years, with their explosive live shows and genre-defying mix of harsh screams and soaring melodic moments. Their album Trauma marked a major milestone in their career, earning two Grammy nominations—Best Rock Album and Best Metal Performance for the single “Bow Down.” With over 4.2 billion global streams and chart-topping hits, I Prevail has proven they’re a force to be reckoned with. Their relentless drive has earned them a devoted following and a place at the top of modern rock and metal.
“The Summer of Loud tour is about to be the best metal tour of the year,” says I Prevail’s Eric Vanlerberghe. “Where else can you see some of the best modern metal bands all on the same stage? It’s going to be a tour you don’t wanna miss.”
Killswitch Engage, hailing from Western Massachusetts, has been one of the most influential bands in heavy music since their formation in 2000. Known for pioneering a fusion of thrash guitar work, hardcore energy, and insightful lyrics, Killswitch Engage helped shape the metalcore sound of the early 2000s. Their album Alive or Just Breathing became an instant classic, and since then, they’ve earned three Grammy nominations, as well as gold and platinum certifications for albums like The End of Heartache and As Daylight Dies. With a career spanning over 25 years, their energetic live shows and genre-defining music have earned them a loyal fanbase and global recognition.
“This summer tour has shaped up to be a huge and exciting lineup,” says Killswitch Engage frontman Jesse Leach. “I am honored and stoked to share the stage with such solid and killer bands. I feel a deep sense of purpose with this new album, and I can’t wait to perform it for fans across the U.S. and Canada. This is the tour of the summer!”
Parkway Drive, the powerhouse Australian band from Byron Bay, has risen from underground sensation to worldwide success. Since their formation in 2003, they have become a dominant force in the metalcore scene, with albums like Killing with a Smile (2005) and Horizons (2007) earning them their place in the genre’s history. Later releases like Ire(2015) and Reverence (2018) saw the band expand their sound to include more cinematic and anthemic elements. Their 2022 album Darker Still takes this evolution even further, incorporating orchestral influences and melodic textures. Known for their electrifying live shows, Parkway Drive has headlined festivals and arenas worldwide, cementing their reputation as one of modern metal’s most influential bands.
Parkway Drive’s Winston McCall shares, “Summer of Loud, yep that sounds correct. This is the literal definition of a stacked lineup—it’s straight-up insane. Nothing but power from top to bottom. This is going to be a summer to remember. So stoked to be part of it, and so excited to bring the carnage and chaos. Let’s fucking GO!!!”
As an added bonus, the Summer of Loud Tour will be donating $1 from every ticket sold to the Living The Dream Foundation, a non-profit organization that supports children and young adults living with life-threatening illnesses by helping them stay positive, maintain hope, and appreciate every day, regardless of their affliction.
Citi presale begins Tuesday, February 25th at 12pm ET and runs until Thursday, February 27th at 11pm. General public tickets go on sale Friday, February 28th at 10am local time via livenation.com. For more information on the tour visit summerofloud.com.
