Recycled Percussion concluded their 34-show winter tour on Saturday with a high-energy performance at Claremont Opera House in Claremont, NH.

Recycled Percussion has a deep history in Northern New England. Their high-energy, immersive shows consistently draw huge crowds, with fans returning time and again to experience the excitement. Their performance at the Claremont Oprea House was on the mark.

Kicking the show off with their bucket drum performance including their drumming and lots of dancing. Following this was their iconic ladder performance, where they use ladders as drums. During this, they were disguised as older men to add onto the humor aspect of the show. The basis of Recycled Percussion shows is that they can make music out of anything. This show in particular, Ryan Vein and Justin Spencer played music with the ladders, a school desk, blenders, buckets and much more. During this show, they gave back to countless communities throughout New Hampshire in creative and entertaining ways.

Recycled Percussion was formed while Justin Spencer and Ryan Vezina were in high school. In 1995, they entered a high school talent show with the goal to use anything but regular instruments. They continued to build instruments out of recycling and playing out in public, mainly in subways.

In 1999, USA Today featured them on the cover page, leading their band to start taking off. The band played around the country for about 10 years, until they played on America’s Got Talent. With this performance, they gained national fame and soon sealed a deal with MGM Grand to have their own show in Las Vegas.

Recycled Percussion has gone on to perform over 7,000 shows and has starred in over 40 popular shows including The Grammy Awards, the Super Bowl, America’s Got Talent, China’s Got Talent, and many more.

But it doesn’t stop there- Recycled Percussion started their own television show called Chaos and Kindness. Chaos & Kindness has grown significantly over the years, driven by a mission of inclusivity and fostering a positive mindset. While Recycled Percussion captivates audiences with high-energy performances, Chaos & Kindness focuses on bringing people together and supporting one another in meaningful ways.

The Recycled Percussion family is known for taking on extraordinary challenges, from Justin’s recent feat of running seven marathons in seven days across seven continents to Ryan hitchhiking from California to New Hampshire just in time for the holidays. They share these experiences live on Facebook, showcasing the incredible power of the human spirit and the importance of giving back. Their positivity and kindness are truly contagious.

You can catch Justin on Facebook live at 8 AM, Monday through Friday—unless he’s off on another adventure. Through his Because I Can morning show on Facebook, he connects with fans on a deeper level, bringing a mix of honesty, humor, and real conversations about mental health, life’s struggles, and ways to make the world a better place.

Whether they’re organizing scavenger hunts for cash prizes, opening their doors to host Thanksgiving dinner, or simply handing out flowers to brighten someone’s day, Recycled Percussion is living and breathing their mission—to spread kindness, positivity, and acceptance to everyone they meet.

If you missed them on this tour, you’re in luck! Recycled Percussion will be performing two shows on March 29, 2025, at the Flying Monkey in Plymouth, NH—one at 2 PM and another at 7 PM. Grab your tickets now at www.recycledpercussion.com.
